Pet Plan Charitable Trust funding enabled the Animal Health Trust (AHT) to conduct a study of hypertension in cats and the effects this disease can have on the animal's eyes. This study created a database that assists researchers, veterinarians, and pet lovers in making life better for furry friends.
Pet Plan Funding to Educate Future Vets
In conjunction with the Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS), Pet Plan initiated a program to provide vet students, recent grads, and vets from developing countries with surgical experience.
Pet Plan Funding for the University of Cambridge Veterinary School
Pet Plan Charitable Trust donated the funding for a £200,000 care wing in the University of Cambridge Veterinary School Cancer Therapy Unit. This wing includes a radio therapy ward, in addition to waiting and recovery space.
