Its ears are pendant and long. Its forelegs are straight. Its dewclaws are removable. This breed displays a shortened tail about four cm. its limbs are muscular. Its webbed feet help it to swim.

Weight and Height

Male dogs are 24 to 27 inches tall whereas female dogs are 22 to 25 inches tall. Male dogs weigh 25 to 32 kg whereas bitches weigh 23 to 29 kg.

Nature and Temperament Weimaraner is cheerful and intelligent. This dog breed possesses a unique personality. It is reliable and passionate. It prefers staying indoors in the company of human beings. It hates left isolated. Breeders do not recommend this dog to the elderly and young children, as it may knock them down. This breed is loyal and brave.
Activities Weimaraner needs rigorous exercise. It loves to hunt, romp, play ball and hike. It stays well in a large fenced yard. This breed is not for people living a sedentary lifestyle. Owners need to train this dog enough, so it does not get bored or bark excessively at others.
