PeterbaldPeterbald cat has genes of the Oriental, the Siamese and the Russian Donskoy cats. The International Cat Association (TICA) has also recognised Peterbalds.

Body Description:

This cat has a distinguishing appearance. Physically, it looks like the Sphynx cat. However, in actuality, Peterbalds have no connection with the Sphynx cats. This is a medium to small sized cat breed. The head is triangle in shape with oversized and pointed ears. Eyes are oval and of medium-sized. Legs are lengthy with oval feet.

This cat is virtually coatless. However, the body is covered with fine and very short hair. The body needs frequent cleaning due to the oily secretion.

Weight and Height

Male Peterbalds weigh between 8 to 10 lbs, while the female Peterbalds weigh around 6 to 8 lbs.

Nature and Temperament Peterbalds love to play with humans. They are frisky, active and friendly with strangers and small children. In addition, they are very friendly with socialised dogs. They love to hug their loved-ones. Most important attribute of Peterbalds is that they follow their owners everywhere in the house.
Activity

Peterbalds love to interact with others. In addition, they love to play with toys for entertainment.

Life Span The average lifespan of this cat is between 10 to 12 years.
