pet guide - Munchkin

MunchkinMunchkins are naturally occurring cats with uncommonly short legs caused by genetic mutation called dwarfism. This genetic alteration gives them a diminutive stature and does not cause any difficulty to the spinal cord or normal movement. However, Munchkins do not run like other cats. Munckin cats were widely popular prior to World War II. However, they disappeared after the war and later re-emerged in 1983 by a cat breeder and a veterinarian called Dr. H. E. Williams-Jones
