Body Description:

Jack Russells are very energetic, loyal, intelligent and courageous dogs. They are small, but very tough and sturdy. They have predominantly white colour with small brown or black patches. Their neck is clean and muscular and has strong, straight boned legs.

They have very smooth and dense double coat, which is neither silky nor woolly

Weight and Height

They measure up to 10-15 inches and weigh around 14-18 pounds.

Nature and Temperament Jack Russells are perky, devoted and loving dog. They are very obedient and amusing, yet fearless. They love to play with everything they encounter. Generally, Jack Russells are very good and kind towards children. They will protect their family and territory fearlessly. You may easily train Jack Russells to do various tricks. Jack Russells cannot be trusted with other pets, especially pets smaller than them. They tend to get destructive and restless if not well exercised.
Activities

Jack Russells are very good companions for human beings. They can be very pleasant, if they get enough exercise. They love taking long, daily, brisk walks and love to play Frisbee with their masters. They excel in their hunting and love to show off their skills.

Average lifespan Jack Russells live longer than any other dog breed. Their average lifespan is of 15 years or more.
