This breed resembles quiet a lot with the Welsh Corgi, a dog with small legs and long body that is close to the ground. The Glen of Imaal Terrier is a sturdy dog with bowed front legs. This breed has a powerful head with tapered muzzle, half-rose shaped ears, and black nose and round eyes.

This breed has double coat such as, the outer coat is shaggy, harsh and medium in length while, the undercoat is dense and soft. They are minimal shedders.

Weight and Height The weight of the Glen of Imaal Terrier averages between 34-36 pounds. The average height of this breed is 14 inches.
Nature and Temperament This breed is a loyal companion, adept hunter and loving in character. This breed is dangerous to small children in a family.
