Dalmatians are a versatile breed, as they act as a vermin hunters, hounds, circus performers and guard dogs. They are more famous as loyal performers. Dalmatians are hyperactive and extremely energetic.
Dalmatians are famous for their sheer smooth and dense white coat along with black or sliver spots. Baby Dalmatians are born completely white and spots mature with age however, with the age they begin to shed twice in a year. |
The Dalmatian hails from Yugoslavia and derives its name from a region called Dalmatia. English aristocrats preferred Dalmatians to other dog breeds due to their size and stamina. Often linked with acting like a firehouse dog, the Dalmatians are famous for boasting good dog guard capabilities. In addition, they were even used to protect the U.S soldiers during world wars.
