Cornish RexCornish Rex is a lovely cat breed, which originally hailed from a city known as Cornwall in UK. This cat breed has a bright and curly coat, unlike other cat breeds that have a thick coat. In fact, the whiskers of this breed are curly.

Body Description:

It is a medium-sized cat breed with a short coat and slim structure. The legs of this breed are very long and its body bends upward from the ribs. Its tail is tapering and long. Even though it is fine boned breed, it is muscular.

Cornish Rex is a wavy in appearance with curly eyebrows and whiskers. A typical cat usually has three kinds of coats such as, undercoats, awn hairs and guard hairs, but this cat breed lacks those guard hairs, which gives it an extremely soft feel.

Weight and Height This cat breed usually weighs around 2.5 to 4.5 kg and grows up to 3 to 4 inches.
Nature and Temperament This cat breed is active, quiet and outgoing. It enjoys being around the people and does not like to be left alone. It also enjoys playing with its owners. This cat breed is extremely intelligent and very affectionate. It gets along well with kids and pets.
Activity

This breed is vigorous and likes to take part in the activity of its owners. Apart from running around, it enjoys high-level activity with little toys and kids.

Life Span The average lifespan of Cornish Rex is 15 years.
