Corgi Farmers in Wales used Corgi dogs as cattle herders. However, their naughty nature and cute size has made them very popular among the people all over the world. Queen Elizabeth II owned a Corgi dog as a pet. They are very playful, but at the same time, are very protective of their families.

Body Description:	Corgi dogs have dense coat, which has a thick undercoat and a medium length outer coat
Weight and Height	The height of Corgi dogs is around 10-12 inches from shoulder and they weigh around 25-35 lbs. They have long backs, short legs and upright ears. Their size and height make them very cute pets.
Nature and Temperament	Corgi dogs are famous for their loyalty, playful nature, devotion to their owners and alertness. If they are suspicious of any stranger, they will fearlessly protect their owners, property and territory from any harm. Corgi dogs hate to stay alone for longer periods and as a result may turn destructive. This breed is perfect pet for senior people and children. Corgi dogs are very cooperative with other pets, if raised together.
Activities	Corgis are very playful, agile and obedient dogs. They enjoy playing with their families. Corgi dogs are perfectly suited for city life, if they get enough exercise and are mentally stimulated. Early socializing and obedience training is recommended for Corgi dogs. Corgis are a delightful breed for a family, which has children and seniors.
Average lifespan	An average life of a Corgi dog is quite longer than other breed of dogs. Their average life is between 12 to 15 years.
