BengalThe Bengal cat is a breed developed in 1963 by crossing short-haired domestic cat with Asian Leopard cat. The name of this cat was taken from the scientific name of the Asian Leopard cat, Felis bengalensis. This cat has no connection with Bengal Tiger.

Body Description:

Its face has unique horizontal stripes, mascara that starts from the eye and extends to the backside of its neck. Its body is muscular, solid and long. Its neck is long, muscular, large and thick. They have wide and large nose with large and oval-shaped eyes.

This cat has a luxurious coat that is thick, silky and soft. The coat may be marbled or spotted.

Weight and Height The male cat weighs 10 to 18 lbs, while the female cat weighs 7 to 12 lbs. The average height of this cat is 11 inches.
Nature and Temperament This cat is highly intelligent, energetic and curious. They are very affectionate to their owners. They love to be a companion of humans all the time. However, they do not want to spend much of their time on the laps of human. They love to be a true family member. This cat is fun-loving and expects their owner to be the same.
Activity

This cat is highly energetic and loves to hunt, run and play with their owners. In addition, they love to play with other pets or cats in the same family.
