Bea-TzuBea-Tzu is originally a crossbred dog between the Shih-Tzu and Beagle, and hence it is not a thoroughbred dog. It was recognized in UK in the year 1946, while AKC recognized the breed in the USA in 1969. Today, this dog breed is highly popular as a companion dog.

Body Description:

It is an alert and spunky small dog endowed with lots of character. It has an ability to make friends quickly and responds very well with a consistent training. It is an ideal watchdog and likes to stay around people mostly. It is active, humorous and behaves gently with other pets too

Bea-Tzu’s smooth and shorthaired coat is very easy to maintain, but you may brush with a firm hairbrush only when it is necessary. Use with conditioner occasionally. You need to ensure that the ears are free from infections and the nails are properly cut.

Weight and Height

It can grow up to 11 inches and weighs around 9 to 16 lbs

Nature and Temperament Bloodhounds are truly good-natured companions and get along well with children. They are very affectionate, kind, noble and protective towards their family. Bloodhounds love the attention they get from children and do not miss a chance to play with them. This breed is determined and independent. They need gentle, but firm training. Bloodhounds are very energetic outdoors, but are lazy indoors, which makes them perfect pets for city life.
Activities

Bea-Tzu needs a daily long walk. They also enjoy a good frolic in an unharmed open place such as a large fenced backyard. Finally, do not over feed this dog breed or else it may put on weight.

Average lifespan The normal lifespan of this dog breed is around 15 years or even more.
