Body Description:

This breed has an athletic and muscular body. This breed appears as a wild cat. The broad head of this breed is wedge in shape with almond-shaped large eyes. The unique set of eyebrows develops the wild appearance. The long, muscular, broad, chest develops the muscular look of this breed. They have round and large paws. The American Bobtail is expressive and very flexible.

Body coat of this cat is short, shiny, soft and medium in length. The coat hair displays many colour bands popular as the agouti colour. The agouti coat displays ruddy brown colour. Besides, other coat colours are fawn, red and blue.

Weight and Height The average weight of this breed lies between 7-15 lbs. This breed may be a medium-sized cat or a large cat with curved bobtail of 2-4 inches long. This breed may grow up to 25 cm to 30 cm in height.
Nature and Temperament The American Bobtail is energetic, intelligent, kind and loving. They are easily adaptable in rural or city life. This breed is highly devoted to masters like a dog. They go very well with other pets in the same family. This breed is harmless for small children even if children misbehave with them.
Activity

The American Bobtail is highly energetic and needs moderate exercise. They need frequent jogs for their normal health.

Life Span This breed may live up to 15 years.
