Apply it on the pet’s coat, where fleas and ticks are present using a rag. You may even use any spray bottle for spraying vinegar on the pet’s coat. Vinegar has the natural quality of relieving skin from certain disorders and itchiness. Pet owners may include vinegar in the water they feed to their pets. Next, adding about a teaspoon of vinegar to the bowl containing water or adding it to bathtub of the pet is ideal. Make sure vinegar does not enter your pet’s ears or eyes, as it may cause stinging.
Lemon: Lemon too helps in repelling fleas and ticks in pets. Mix a part of lemon juice with some water. Apply the mixture to your pet’s coat after giving your pet a bath. Here too, for applying the mixture, you may use a spray bottle. Pet owners may even dip their pet’s brush into this mixture. You may apply the same, while brushing the pet. Lemon grass or lemon balm is also a best natural alternative for driving fleas and ticks. Apply one or two drops at your pet’s back portion of the neck. Do not use more than two drops.
